This weekend, a new episode of Live from Main Street will be taped in Miami. The show will focus on the economic crisis, and will be produced by The Media Consortium in partnership with the Miami Workers Center. The episode will be posted to YouTube and embedded on the Live from Main Street site.
Lightbulb First helped the Media Consortium develop the Live from Main Street site, and continues to work with the Media Consortium on updates and improvements to the site as the site evolves. Live From Main Street is a tour of the U.S. in Election Year 2008, hosted by popular journalist and radio personality Laura Flanders. The Media Consortium is a member-based organization comprised of 45 of the nation’s leading independent journalism outlets.
Lightbulb First is excited to work with this innovative progressive organization, and to help support an exciting new program which promise improved coverage of the vital issues in this year's presidential election. We eagerly await the forthcoming episodes of Live from Main Street.
